Choosing an exterior cleaning company is an important decision, and it's natural to have questions.
Below are answers to some of the questions we're asked most often. If you don't see your question here, feel free to contact us. We're always happy to help.
In many cases, no. As long as we have access to the areas being cleaned and any special instructions have been discussed beforehand, many exterior services can be completed while you're away.
Interior window cleaning does require someone to be present unless other arrangements have been made in advance.
Most estimates can be completed using available property information and photos you provide. This allows us to save time, make the estimating process more convenient, and keep our pricing as competitive as possible.
If additional information is needed—or if you simply prefer an in-person consultation—we're happy to schedule an on-site estimate.
We believe protecting your roof is more important than achieving instant results.
Pressure washing can damage shingles, remove protective granules, force water into places it doesn't belong, and will void certain manufacturer warranties. Our roof soft washing process safely treats organic growth while helping preserve the life of your roof.
Not always.
Organic growth such as algae, mildew, and moss typically responds very well to professional cleaning. However, permanent staining, oxidation, rust, and other non-organic discoloration may not be completely removable. Porous surfaces can also trap stains deep within the material, which may limit how much improvement is possible.
We'll gladly explain what results you can realistically expect before work begins.
Every property is different.
Factors such as surrounding trees, shade, moisture, weather, and sun exposure all affect how quickly exterior surfaces become dirty. The best way to determine a maintenance schedule is to see how long it takes for your property to need cleaning again, and then we can set a schedule based on that information.
Yes. Protecting your landscaping is an important part of our process.
When using professional cleaning solutions, we thoroughly pre-wet surrounding plants, continue watering throughout the service as needed, and rinse again afterward when conditions require it. In our industry, there's a saying: "The solution is dilution." Proper watering is one of the best ways to help protect healthy landscaping.
We accept cash, checks, and most major credit and debit cards.
Please note that we do not carry change, so if you plan to pay with cash, we ask that you have the exact amount available.
If you have any questions about payment before your service is scheduled, please contact us and we'll be happy to help.
Why don't you use the same cleaning method on every surface?
Because every surface, material, and condition is different. We recommend the safest and most effective cleaning method for each individual project—not simply the fastest or most aggressive one.
A little preparation helps us work safely and efficiently while providing the best possible results.
For exterior services, we recommend moving vehicles, patio furniture, grills, potted plants, and any other items that may block access to the work area whenever possible.
For interior window cleaning, we ask that you move fragile or valuable items away from windows before we arrive.
We are pet friendly! However, if you have pets, please secure them in a safe area during your appointment if it's necessary. If possible, we also ask that excess pet hair be removed from window sills and nearby surfaces before we arrive. Pet hair can interfere with our squeegees, making it more difficult to achieve the best possible results. It can also increase cleaning time and, in excessive situations, may result in additional charges due to the extra labor required.
If you need assistance moving larger items, please let us know in advance.
We live and work in the Pacific Northwest, so rain is part of life here. In most cases, rain does not affect the majority of the services we provide.
If weather conditions are unsafe or would prevent us from delivering the best possible results, we’ll contact you as soon as possible to reschedule your appointment. For roof washing, very light rain is generally acceptable, but heavier rain or poor conditions may require us to postpone the service.
Our goal is always to complete your service safely and under conditions that allow us to achieve the best possible results.
